My Maiden Solo Ride
Everything started unexpectedly. I woke uo at 7.15 this morning and sat in front of my computer. Just then I felt like taking a ride on my bike. I took it out and started riding aimlessly. I then decided to hit the highway and decided upon the East Coast Road ( E.C.R. ). I was cruising at not more than 60-63 kmph on my bike. Ah!!! It was a great feeling. The bike was butter smooth. I know that I was slow at that speed on an open highway. But then, thanks to the runin condition which forced me to keep my pace down and enjoy the ride.
I rode upto the view point which is about 10-15 kms before Mahabalipuram. It took exactly 1 hour from my place. I was relaxing there for about 15 minutes and started my ride back. While coming back I was much more slower and it took another extra half an hour. When I reached home I had covered 95 kms. Then did some riding in the city to finish the day with about 130 kms of blissful riding. Here are a couple more pics of my bike which Guru snapped in front of my house.
